Description

This is a complete beginner guitar course that will quickly get you up-to-speed without skipping any important steps. We'll start at the very beginning, assuming that you don't know anything about guitar. By the end of this course, you'll be reading tab, playing open & barre chords, naming notes on every fret, soloing over songs, and strumming with different patterns for each song.

If you want to be a guitarist, you'll need a basic ability to play chords. When you play chords, you'll need a few different strum patterns to make the chords sound unique. This means you'll be playing a song or a chord progression. Finally, you'll want to do some soloing over the song or chords. These are all things that you'll learn to do in this course.

Unfortunately, not even worth the rebated price. Bad sound quality of guitar and voice, no didactics, just talking about techniques and illustrated with hand-drawn images. Only for picking with plectrum, no mention of finger-picking. All nice illustrations of the course are misleading, because all courses are the same teacher. Maybe Dan Dresnok is a great teacher in person, but not in this online course.

I enjoy Dan's teaching style. He doesn't come off as some slick, polished announcer-type. His lessons feel as though you are sitting with an acquaintance and discussing the guitar and how it works.
